The Mentorship Program is funded by the Pocahtontas County Arts Council.  Talented, accomplished artists take their time to help high school students get acquainted with the visual arts.  This  mentorship program is provided to High School students through the Pocahontas County High School system and is also available to Home School High School students.

This is Catlin Rood who was mentored by Cynthia Gurreui in pottery and ceramics along with other artistic endeavors.  Catlin has graduated from Pocahontas High School and is presently pursuing a course in ceramics and art.

This Oil Painting by Dylan Kolonay was entered in the Pioneer Days last July.   Arthur Kreft mentored him in oils and various other artistic experiences.
